How to make apple bacon Brussels sprouts:

  1. Preheat oven to 400℉.
  2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-low heat. Render some bacon fat but try to avoid browning, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add Brussels sprouts, apple, and spices. Toss to coat in rendered bacon fat.
  4. Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 400℉ for 20 minutes or until Brussels sprouts become crispy and apples become soft.

Brussels sprouts with apple and bacon last will last for 3 days in the refrigerator if properly stored in an airtight container. But I assure you’ll love it so much it won’t even make it that long!

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, stems trimmed and halved
  • 1 Apple, cored and diced Granny Smith or another tart apple preferred
  • 3 to 4 strips Sugar-free bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tsp Chipotle powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Sweet Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Ground Cardamom
